Shopping and restaurants are close by at the rapidly expanding Shawnee Crossings Development. We maintain a community pool that is open to all residents in good standing.
Recreational facilities are also nearby. Garrett and Gamblin parks are within walking distance and a short bike ride can take you to   Mill Creek Streamway Park  access and the  Mid-America Sports Complex . The  Johnson County Library Shawnee Branch  is a short drive east on Johnson Drive.
The mission of the Deerfield Trace Homes Association is to build a successful community thru conscientious management of common areas and facilities, by promoting community involvement and harmony thru social functions and by protecting home values thru enforcement of the Restrictions in accordance with the Bylaws .
We are striving to be a community that people in other neighborhoods want to move to. A place where you know your neighbors and your kids can grow, learn and play. At the end of the day, we want to be proud of the neighborhood.
